The Boulevard de Clichy is one of the main streets in the Parisian artists'' district of Montmartre. Van Gogh painted the crossroads that he often passed. On the right, just out of the picture, began Rue Lepic, where he lived with his brother Theo. When in Paris, Van Gogh came into contact with the latest art of his time: impressionism and neo-impressionism. As a result, he gradually began to use lighter colours. He also experimented with various painting techniques. His brushwork, with many dashes of paint placed next to each other, betrays the influence of these art movements. This passion is clearly evident on the duvet cover. The light pastel tones offer a subtle depth, which fits very well in a classic bedroom design.
The duvet cover is made of 100% cotton satin. The duvet cover has a chic sheen and the satin weave makes it feel very smooth. More threads are used for a satin weave and the material is woven much tighter. Cotton satin is made of 100% high quality breathable cotton and is moisture-absorbent. The duvet cover features a different design on the front and back. The duvet cover can be washed at a temperature of up to 60 degrees, is suitable for the tumble dryer and can be ironed. The high quality ensures that even after washing the duvet cover will retain its beautiful shape and colour.
