Zabuton Cushion_Red_UV_UV_50x6
Inspired by traditional Japanese floor cushions, the Zabuton decorative cushion completes the collection around the Japanese theme. The decorative cushion has a three-pointed embroidery stitch in the centre that traditionally indicates the direction you are supposed to sit on it. In the centre and at the corners, you will see subtle ochre tassels that originally symbolise good luck in Japanese culture. The decorative cushion has an all-over mosaic pattern in light red. The pattern comes from the archives of the Van Gogh Museum and has a Shibori effect. Shibori is a traditional Japanese tie-dye technique to dye fabric and create beautiful patterns.
The Beddinghouse x Van Gogh collection consists of an exclusive collection of bed-, bath- and kitchen textiles and accessories. Each design is inspired by one of the paintings of Vincent van Gogh.
